Not able to publish an outbound service interface as a web service in ESR.

Hi Experts,

Consider a scenario, asynchronous SOAP to ABAP proxy.I have created two service interfaces(one outbound and one inbound). When I try to publish the service interface as a webservice in ESR,I am able to select the inbound interface. But I want to publish the outbound interface as a webservice to the source system.

Where might be the problem.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Praveen

    Hi Praveen,

Open the Integration Directory and Then goto tools-->display wsdl

    +

After that you can define you outbound object from the specify interface in the wizard that opens

Check the namespace name where you have define the outbound object(It May be the case that you are giving the namespace that does not contain that object)

After that you can save the web sevice in the desktop and test it using SOAP UI

Hope it will solve you problem..

    Thanks and best Regards,

    Hello,

I think, publishing outbound interfaces from ESR under SR is not possible, it's only applicable for inbound interfaces. So u can directly publish the outbound interface from ID (using sender agreement/ICO -> Publish in SR).
