TYPELIM Usage

Hi Experts,

I am uisng ACCOUNT  dimension in Legal Model,but TYPELIM property will it refer ICMAtching  Code  like : ELIM010, how to configure and  mapping this property.

Hi,

Configuration of Legal consolidation adjustments TYPELIM is used.

TYPELIM – used for grouping of accounts, which is used in defining Legal Adjustment business  rules.

Ex:

ELIM01: Elimination of inter-company transactions:

ARAP – Accounts receivables and accounts payables

TYPELIM = ARAP

ARAP is TYPELIM  member

LOAD – Loans and advances

TYPELIM = LOAD

LOAD is TYPELIM  member

       ELIM01, ELIM2 etc … you have configure based on business requirement.

       ELIM01, ELIM02 etc  should be configured in Automatic adjustments Business rule.

       Refer consolidation document , you will get correct idea.

TYPEELIM  property is used for Inter company elimination .

Hi,

TYPEELIM  property is not used for ICMatching.

Its basically used for to group the GL accounts based on there nature.

Ex: 1. All Inter company sales and Purchase -- ICSP(Intercompany sales and Purchases)

      2. All Intercompany Incomes & Expenses -- ICIE(Intercompany Income and Expenses)

      3. All Intercompany Account receivable and Payable -- ARAP(Accounts Receivable and Payable).

system will calculate the difference amount and post that difference amount in Elimination Clearing account with ELIM10(which is maintained in Business Rule).

for ICMatching this is not useful.
