Dear SAP experts,
We are in ECC 6.05. We have requirement where in buying stock we need to have budget check. As we're not having FM (Fund Management) in scope we're thinking of using project stock.
So the idea will be:
1. Having all budget for stock procurement in one year in one dummy WBS,
2. Whenever SCM procure material, they will procure valuated project stock through this WBS, thus budget checking is done
3. When goods are received, project stock increased
4. PM Work Order created, and reservation is automatically created for stock item (item category 'L')
5. Warehouse will issue stock from project stock to the reservation coming from PM work order
My question is, whether option 5 can be done or not? As it will be issued against a PM work order but the stock coming from special stock (Q)
Best regards,
John
Hi
I think you can acheive your budget check by assinging the WBS element in the addtional tab of the maintenance order. it need nod be a project stock . it can be direct inventory where stock is maintained. kindly search in EAM forum you can able to find the releated threads.

Hi Thyagarajan,
I think you misunderstanding my issue. In here, the stock is purchased separately from the work itself, in which once a year, the whole requirement from the planned work (where the WBS and/or PM work order has not been created), is planned and then budget is provided and purchased using the budget. So in this case, technically budget to buy stock has no direct link to individual real WBS and/or PM work order.
The question in here. If we buy stock using WBS A (budget to purchase stock), and receipt as the project stock for WBS A, can we issue this project stock to other WBS and/or PM work order which have no technical connection with the original WBS (WBS A)
Best regards,
John
