I am trying to install HANA client into my Windows 7 machine. Everything installed but the ODBO package failed. The error points to system32 folder missing in the windows registry. Have anybody run into this and have a solution? I have attached a screenshot here.
I installed HANA client into another windows 7 machine before and it successfully installed without any error.
Hi Flavia,
The error is because System could not find System Directory in Registory.
For this you need to manually create a registry.
In your Windows, go to run and type "regedit" and hit enter.
Right Click in the Blank space on the frame in the right workspace
New->StringValue
Give Name as “SystemDirectory”
Right click on new variable created in the last step.
After this install HANA Client again

Hello
I would suggest that you restart the system and run the update right
after, before running any other process.
Hope this can help you.
