Client install fails

Former Member

I have installed SAP server tools, SAP Server over Windows Server 2012  with a domain and SQL 2008R2.

When I try to install the client  (DI API) I get the following message :

   License server is unavailable.

I have used both the name and the IP of the server and get the same message.

I wonder if this will have to do with the use of a domain?

If so, is there a work around?

    Gracias

9.0 PL4, What I did was to install SQL 2012 and get rid of the domain and the problem went away.

    Thank you guys.

Hi,

Run the License manager service under service manager and also check the TAO NT service.
