Hello experts,
I want to make consolidation in phases. I mean dividing the perimeter in sub-groups that must be consolidated itself's and later consolidation with the other sub-group subsequently (as a nested consolidation) until get the final consolidation that aggregated all entitys. I have heard that it wasnt able to make in previous BPC versions, so my question is if it is possible to do know, from when, and finally... ...How does it works?
Thanks very much in advance.
Regards,
Yolanda
In Full Consolidation All entities are processed.
Incremental Only entities with changed transaction data are processed.

Thanks for your answer Kalyan but my question is not about runing consolidation in an incremental mode, it is as if the ownership hierarchy is sub-divided in sub-hierarchies, all belong to the same ownership-based hierarchy and from a legal consolidation point of view the results must be presented at the very high level. But, internatly they want to run the process separatly in order to know how the consolidation results are for some sub-group (or sub-hierarchies) from the complete perimeter.

Yolanda
Hi Yolanda,
Just give it a try, I have tested it myself- Step consolidation with cross holding. Your configuration of ownership structure parameters like method, percentage of control, percentage of ownership, percentage of consolidation will take care of final consolidated figure at each group/sub-group level.

Hi Kalyan,
I really appreciated your time and help.
If I understood you well, you say that it is absolutly possible, I should inform about percentage of ownership, methods and controls and the system is able to make the rollup consolidation. In the tested you made, where you have draw the entity relations?, apart from the perimeter (where you introduced percentage of participation and methods) I understand you have to create the creation of sub-groups in the conso-scope dimension, does it?
I heard from experts that BPC wasn´t able to do it in previous versions and we better do it with BFC, do you know from when we are able to cover this requirement? Which is the feature that allow us to make the step by step consolidation that wans´t available before?
Thanks a lot for your help,

Hi Yolanda,
Please login to web admin console and then go to consolidation central>Ownership Manager. You may define the ownership structure here and also define the above mentioned parameter for consolidation.
In 7.5 NW as well we had it and use to call it Dynamic Hierarchy Editor.

Kalyan.
