IH06 characteristics selection

Hi SDN,

Previously the characteristics selecion on IH08, displayed a single column for the same characteristic, even for different classes.

Now (SAP_APPL 603) the system displays the same characteristic several times (for different classes)!

We pretend only 1 column for the same characteristic. Can you help?

Have you developed any customer-specific functionality in these reports (e.g. user-exit, BADI, Enhancements, etc.)?

If so, then get your ABAP team to take a look to satisfy yourself that this issue isn't caused by yourselves.

Hi Maria,

Check the Table Name and its fields. as one of our friend toled there should be some BAPI structurs or might be activiated. or else any Business Fucntions might be activated.

Campare the dates befor and after and what events went on might be that action leads this issue . check events happend in the system before it caussing this issue.

What are the technical field names of these 6 fields?

Hi,

This fields are standard, and there is no techinical information available (F1+F9). They correspond to some functional location characteristics, and there are a lot more.

I suppose that happend with the last SPacks (EhP3 SP Stack 12).

No implemented any BAPI for this. The fields are standard.

After debug, the field names used are: CLDA1, CLDA2, 3, 4,5 and 6.

If you are not using any developments, and there aren't any suitable OSS Notes, then I would open an OSS Message to SAP to see what they recommend.

After further research, this "functionality" came with business function LOG_EAM_CI_6.

Sap/help:

Feature: List Editing for Technical Objects with Characteristics

...

Display of Characteristics in List Editing

You can use this function to display characteristics in single-level list editing for technical objects (functional locations and equipment). In the list of technical objects, the system displays one column for each characteristic, even if the same characteristic belongs to more than one class. The number of displayed characteristics is limited to 20 characteristics.

HI,

As additional, it's possible to switch off the switch

EAM_SFWS_TECH_OBJ_LIST_CLASSI (TC SFW1), business function LOG_EAM_CI.
