Placing a Future Hold on Material

Hello all

Is there a way to place a Future Hold on a specific Material in a specified operation?

I know that I can put a Future Hold on specific SFCs in a specific operation (using SFC Place Hold in GUI).

There I can also put the material on hold, but the Material Hold does not seem seem to apply to the operation.

Hello Per,

If you select Hold Material checkbox in SFC Place Hold and place on Hold, ME changes the status of the material associated with the SFC number to Hold. It is a setting from Material Maintenance, which is not tied to any operation anyhow. So, the answer is no.
