SSO from BW to R/3 using internal ITS

hi all

from our bw reports we jump to different transaction (display sales document ,... ) in the R/3 backend . BW 3.5 and R/3 ECC 5.0 with internal ITS.

the connect to the backend and the call of the transaction using the webgui service works fine , but how can i set up that this works with SSO . now i always have to enter the username and password .

the usernames in the different systems are the same and the servers are in the same domain .

Hi Hannes,

Welcome to SDN.

If you are running this application inside sap enterprise portal , SSO can be done easily. else you have to enter userid/pwd for once and for further sessions this will be handled automatically. to achieve this you have to configure SSO2 as explained in OSS note no.517860 or just run the following URL for further info.

http://<wasserver>.xxxx.com:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/system/sso2test.htm

thank's for your response . i made sso working for the ITS (webgui) from the portal(with certificates) and also jumping from bw to R/3 with SSO.

i now miss just one functionality: SSO from windows ADS via ITS to the R/3 . we have done that for sapgui - that works fine ==> now user and PW for SAPLOGIN are required anymore .

any idea how to do that ?
