Advance shipment creation of the service orders

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement in the advance shipment creation of the service orders , in drop down the menu from the sales document type a list of sales orders is there. If there is any way  to be listed quotation in this search criteria.

Hi,

Advance shipment Functionality is used mainly to send the Components from Service order to customer using sales order

If you want the quotation to be created to get the customer approval on cost and delivery Times, you should use DP80 transaction to create a quotation from the service order

Once your Quotation is accepted , you can release the service order and create Advance shipment for Components alone which will create a sales order, using Advance shipment you cannot create quotation
