Hi All,

We have installed SAP SSM 10 on NW 7.3.

We are able to access launch page (http://localhost:50100/strategy/pilotworks/launchpage.jsp) but unable to access Strategy Management of Database.

After logged in to launch page with PIPADMIN user we are getting an below error message saying

"You do not have access to this application, check with your system administrator"

Database --> Quick Launch --> Strategy Management

PIPADMIN has added as an Administrator in SAP NetWeaver UME.  Also assigned below roles to PIPADMIN.

BUI_USER,  BUIJ_PVT_READ,  BUIJ_APP_ALL,  BUIJ_SAP_READ

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Abhijeet

Abhijeet,

Have you created the users and roles as described in section 7.1 of the Install guide. You need to do this or you won't have access to the system. The documentation is not explicit that you have to create the roles. You then need to assign action rights see section 7.3.2. See the discussion about this at http://scn.sap.com/thread/3417751

You can give different action rights to the Executive  and Services roles if you want to see how this impacts what people are able to see/do.

Abhijeet,

It's traditional on the forums to acknowledge responses that have been helpful and correct so that points get awarded

It also helps other users as they can then see on the index page where correct answers are when looking for answers to their questions.

Sajin,

Have you gone back over all the elements in the guides?

Strategy group? Roles? Action rights? Assigning those roles to the Context?
