For the Query Match Score, returned by the CONTAINS clause/predicate of UDA, the UDA documentation (page 54) only gives general information about the parameters that affect the score value returned, but not the formula used to calculate the returned score value.
How is the score value calculated?

There are some further details in the SQL Anywhere manuals regarding scores for full text search.

I am not aware of the algorithms used here, I suspect they are internal & confidential.
