Service plan product: how to get standard SERVICEPLAN set type(for service plan) under category MAT_SERV/R3PRODSTYP

Hello Experts

We are implementing the service plan scenario in our project. Service plan products would be downloaded from ECC into CRM under product hierarchy R3PRODSTYP/category MAT_SERV. Now, here the standard set-type SERVICEPLAN required for using the Service Interval template in service plan product is not available under category MAT_SERV. So, we used a Z set type and assigned the attribute CYCLE_KEY(required for the necessary processing of the service plan). This Z set type is assigned to the standard category MAT_SERV. But while creating the service plan, the service interval template is not getting determined from the service plan product. Is there any way by which the standard set-type SERVICEPLAN can be made available under MAT_SERV category?

Regards

Hi Ankit,

Please note that the set type Service Plan belongs to the Service product type. Please find below the screen print for your reference.

The Set type Service Plan cant be brought under the Category "MAT_" (i.e, Product Type - Material ) by standard and hence the only option is to go for Z-Set Type and assign it udner the required category.

Also in your case please make sure you have the follwing setting maintained for your attribute in your Z-Set Type: Please note if your issue is related to Web UI then there is a seperate process for bringing the Z-Set Type which you can find content in the forum.

Hi Raj

thanks for your reply. We have already considered the settings that you mentioned.  Regarding your mention about "Please note if your issue is related to Web UI then there is a seperate process for bringing the Z-Set Type which you can find content in the forum.", please share any resource/link for the same. Our issue is related to WebUi only.
