SRM and SUS installation

Dear ALL,

Below details are required for SRM and SUS:

1) When we say we are installing SUS, do we get any option while installation to select only the SUS component

2)  If we need SRM and SUS on the same server but different client, how the second client for SUS is prepared. Is it by copying the master client and how it is different from SRM client.

Hi Jay

1.) there is no option to select only SUS for the installation. SUS as an application is part of the SRM_SERVER software component. As soon as your SRM server is setup you have everything on board to use SUS.

2.) you can take any client you want on an SRM system, the difference to an SRM client will be in the configuration and customzing of the SUS client. Please configure your SUS client as described in the configuration guides on http://service.sap.com/instguides
