Client proxy not getting executed

Hi Experts,

I am trying a scenario client proxy -> PI -> JDBC. The server on which the client proxy is written was not in our SAP Landscape. We pushed the technical system from that server to our SLD and subsequently created Business system out of it. When client proxy was executed I was not getting any message in the PI server. It is a standard program which we have tried on our ECC server. Since it was not giving any results we reverted the scenario with RFC -> PI -. JDBC. By using RFC we are able to communicate from that server to PI server.

What might be the problem , why I am not able to get the message in MONI when client proxy is executed inspite of the fact that the proxy objects are created correctly as well as the proxy is also active which is checked via SPROXY transaction.

Kindly help to resolve this problem.....

Many Thanks

Regards

    Hi,

why I am not able to get the message in MONI when client proxy is executed inspite of the fact that the proxy objects are created correctly as well as the proxy is also active which is checked via SPROXY transaction.

Have you tried to monitor in the client proxy side?, you can use sxi_monitor as well.

Have you executed the proxy in the sproxy transaction?.

    Regards.

      Hello,

green colour flag means the message is stuck in the outbound queue of your client system. Scroll to the right to jump to the queue monitor or check SMQ2. There may be several reasons for this:

      1) You haven't registered queues on your system yet. This is done in SMQR, just register the queue which is stuck using wildcards like "XBTO*". Once this is done, message should be executed automatically.

      2) Your queue is blocked by another message. Check that message and resolve the problem.

In 99% of all cases one of those will be the problem. It is easy to solve.
