cost center assignment to main work center has not been maintained ?

Hello Experts,

I am facing a problem in scheduling a maintenance plan ( Frequency every day ) and when I want to schedule it in IP10 and on saving a pop up come  as shown in screen below.

When tried to take F1 help I found below help documentation screen.

But In work Center I have pass cost center and Controlling area , However I don't want to calculate order cost based on activity type ( I mean I don't want activity based costing see below work center screen costing tab.I have also tried by passing costing formula SAP008 in below screen problem is same as it was.

Please help Experts ?

Calls 1 (02.09.2013) and 2 (03.09.2013) are before the validity period of the work centre costing data (04.09.2013).

Try changing the work centre validity start date to 01.09.2013, then re-run IP10.

You may still get a costing error because you have not entered a formula or activity type.

Yes I changed work center validity date and costing error gone now  but new error pop up for Batch Material related please see screen below.( Enter Batch for Material 11PMMA0006N23.0) This Material which I used in my task list for operation component.However this is warning error pop up so I just clicked OK to keep move ahead.

I am showing below screen sequence for better diagnosis of issue.

After keep moving I get a new warning error for Availability check for order

After it Below Pop up comes.

After clicking Status Information

On F1 help

And Component Material 11PMMA0006N23.0

Actually I want schedule maintenance plan for everyday and order should created automatically.

so I am scheduling first and IP10 and then run a Background job IP30 for everyday.

Please share your knowledge accordingly as I am new Guy in PM and doing first Implementation.

You have activated WCM for order. So you can't release order before doing the process of Tag out, etc., from PM order.

So, remove Release immediately option either from Configuration or in Maintenance Plan. Then try the same.

I think you have activated the until release for your task list usage in OIZD. kindly de select the same for your task list usage and then check

Yes Thyagarajan,

You are correct it was ticked check box for task list Usage, I unchecked  now and preventive orders PM01 now getting created as per everyday Frequency but I am confuse after seeing order in IP24 why order many orders are getting created for 1 day frequency while maintenance plan has only 1 item so Order should be created one per day. See below screen and I gave start date in past 5 September but only showing orders from 13 September onward where are orders number which were on past date like 6 ,7 ,8 ,9,10,11 ,and 12 September ?

Also when I see  any order let say 4000007 in IW33 a Notification also get created along with order

see screen.

I don't want to create Notification ,customer want Order only for preventive automatically.

Hi

Since you have started your scheduling at 5th september it will create the order for the periods from 5th to 13 th and hence system has created so many order.

If you want only order to be generated only remove the notification tick mark in IMG settings Define Notification and Order Integration

Hi,

Can you check what is the WORK CENTER maintained in the equipment master ?

i believe equipment master is having a different work center which is not having Cost center

please check Equipment and revert back

Hi Santosh ,

Work Center are same everywhere in functional Location , equipment master , Task list and Maintenance plan . I have just one work center and that is assign to maintenance planning plant.

So no chance of other work center you can see my reply to Pete and help me out.
