does BI_CONT version is 707 contains 0employee_2_attr

Hi

As part of my project requirement I have to go for 0employee_2_attr, 0PERSON_2_ATTR and some other data sources which are available in BI_CONT version is 706. But as 706 is out of maintenance, we have to go for 707 only. Can you please let me know whether 707 consists these data sources? do we get all the components 706 in 707?

Hi Ramesh,

Yes the above data sources are part of BI content 707.

For SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including enhancement packages 1 & 2, the following BI Content releases can be used:

SAP NetWeaver 7.0	SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 6 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 7
SAP NetWeaver 7.0  enhancement package 1	SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 6 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 7
SAP NetWeaver 7.0  enhancement package 2	SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 6 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On Extensions 6 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On 7 SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Content Add-On Extensions 7

We are on BI Cont Release 707 i just checked on my system and the datasources you mentioned are not available neither in 3.x nor in 7.x form.

So you may take the call accordingly.

The data source exit in our system, i guess your system is missing the respective BI Content ADD-on which is related to SAP_HR.

Thanks for the information..currently we are on EhP 2 and i think these datasources are available as of release EhP 6 thats what i can see in sap help document.

You will find 0employee_2_attr in BI_CONT 707. Please refer to online help link :

About the datsource 0PERSON_2_ATTR, it is used for ODP interfaces (Object Operational Data Provisioning&Extraction), there is no BI Contect provided for this datasource. Of course if you want you can use this datasource for your requirement but with own BI Content.
