Hi all,
I have ODS object. I am in production support project. I did full update to ODS. After that I did delta load and I found a few duplicate records in ODS Duplicate records are those which already loaded via full update. How can I delete duplicate records?
Any kind of help is really appreciated.
Thanks.
Is it neccessory to load data with full upload before delta....i have not understand why full update is done in your case...better first use delta init and then go for delta update ---you will not get any duplicate records....check this and let us know...if there are still duplicate records/...

Anitha,
As stated you are probably looking at the change log table where records in theory can be seen "duplicate", but the request-id will make the two loads uniqeu records, the ods uses this technique to create the before/after imgage to calculate the delta between your full and delta load.
If the duplicates are contained in your active table, consider if the ods key was build correctly when designing the ods.
Any questions left: ask, if satisfied: please reward..
Kind Regards, Patrick Rieken.

Hi Anitha,
Welcome to SDN!!
Which table of the ODS are you looking at. Because even if there are duplicate records thay would get overwritten if the key fields match. Possibly you were looking at the change log table.
