Delete product cost collector for a material

I  want to delete product cost collector for a material can any body guide me the steps how to delete

    bcoz my existing pcc has been desighned withonly  production version. i want to make it routing production version.

Dear Sandeep

I could not get your query fully. What do you want. I mean when you say " pcc has been desighned withonly  production version. i want to make it routing production version" i could not get it. According to my knowledge production version is created with the combination of BOM and routing so what do you mean that you want to create PCC  with routing production version.

Any ways if you want to set deletion flag to your PCC go to KKF6N (for individual)/KKF6M (for collective) give material number etc. then from main menu go to edit and under it deletion flag-set.

        i  have puted the deletion flag to pcc & pcc has been deleted . after that whwn i am creating new pcc for material . it is defaultly selecting production version not routing bom see attached screen shot.

i have deleted the production version & pcc what ever associated prevoiusly. i am creating with new production version  repetative manfacturing profile allowed & attaching rate routing to it .  than creating pcc for the material.

Hi

After marking PCC for deletion , you need to edit the controlling level of material through t code

CKMLMV_CA from Production version to BOM/routing for the material.After unlocking the same , you will be able to create the new PCC with desired Controlling level.

Check and revert.

     In CKMLMV_CA it is showing as locked .attaching screen shot.pls help me how to unlock it so that i can make it bom/routing

Hi

You need to unlock it first by archiving the PCC assigned to Production version  through T code KOAR or  SARA with Object  CO_ORDER   by giving the order no of PCC and then click on Edit controlling area the below Pop up will come for changing the controling level.The controlling level will unlock only when all dependecies are removed.

Hello sandeep,

for PCC archiving you can use standard report- RKODEL01  in SAP.Check documentaion of this report if is it suitable for you or not.Excerpt from the documentation.

Deletion of product cost collectors

You can also use this program to delete product cost collectors (order type 05). However, data incostistencies may occur due to the associated production and process orders. Therefore, you can only delete a product cost collector once the associated production and process orders have been archived or deleted, or at least until the deletion flag indicator was set.

To set the deletion indicator for production or process orders, you can use the preprocessing program for the relevant archiving object (PP_ORDER or PR_ORDER)

          Though personally i have not used it.

Hi Sandeep,

Follow below step by step in KOAR:

 

- Press Preparation

- Enter variant name, press button variant

- Enter PCC, controlling area, flag the field deletion indicator and

remove flag test run

- Save attributes, enter name in description field

- Save again

- Press start date, press immediate, Save

- Enter Spool parameters

- Press execute

Check and revert.

Can you give the detail to unlock the production lock in CKMLMV_CA..

I have tried the process in KOAR but still could not make the change the control level..
