Stock Clearance in Back Period at Table level

Hi Experts

One material which was supposed to extend with valuation type was further processed in PO & GRN without extending it.Upon realizing, GRN was cancelled & marked for deletion in PO. When material was again tried to extend, system did not allow this extension. After analysing, it was found that GRN posted in the month of Jul was cancelled in Aug.By doing this, stock at plant level was made nill however at table entry of MARDH stock entry remained as its. So, principally GRN posted in the month of Jul should be cancelled in same month not in Aug.

Now issue is that Jul period is also closed & only posting to Aug & sep is open.

Request you all to help how to rectify the stock in Jul Posting period

you should never ever change anything at table level in SAP.

if you have >10 years experience, then you may be experienced enough to know what you do, but then you have so much experience that you wont do it anymore.

About backposting and reopening old periods and its danger check about 1000 other discussion in SCN.

regarding MARDH, please read my document   to understand the logic of this table
