Hello,

This seem like a timezone issue indeed. There is another way to ensure whether the timezone settings are (in)correct (other than the standard report TZCUSTHELP). Few simple actions that can be performed in order to check that. These are the following:

- Click (menu) system >> User profile >> My data;

- Click on tab "Defaults";

- In the section "personal time zone", you'll see the system timezone and the user assigned timezone.     Set the user personal timezone to the exact same as the system timezone;

- Save and log out;

- Log in again and click: System >> Status;

- Look at the upper right corner of the new window, at the system time section. If there is one more line other than system time called TIMEZONE and showing a different time than the system time, your timezone settings need to be adjusted.

Cheers!

Hello,

Yes, it is correct! The reason:

The background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR starts the program

RSCOLL00 and this program checks the TCOLL table for program which needs

to be started.

Workload collector program starting from system release 7.00 the

background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR should always be scheduled

in client 000  and the #System Time Zone# which is maintained in the

transaction STZAC in client 000 should be exactly the same as the OS

time zone setting.
Please check Note:

#926290 - SWNCCOLL: SAP workload NW collector collects no data

Is the background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR scheduled

in client 000 ?

The #System Time Zone# which is maintained in the transaction

STZAC in client 000 should be exactly the same as the OS time zone

setting.

SAP Notes:

#198411  -  Current data and information about time zones

#481835  -  Analyzing the time zone settings

#741734 - Incorrect times due to the time zone settings

Also the daylight saving stuff.

Hi,

Did you check ST03N->Expert Mode->Load history and distribution?

Secondly make sure your saposcol and other standard jobs are running.

You can check the undo_tretentiontime at init<SID>.ora

that will be in oracle/SID/home/database

HiTabrayz,

Is this issue in a production system ?

or non production system, if it is in non production system, have you refreshed your system  iff so are the post installation tasks completed ?

Thanks,

Sanketh

Hello ,

About ST03:The workload monitor reads the workload statistics from the
workloadcollector database. Various collectors must run at regular time
intervals so that this database always contains current data.

The background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR starts the program
RSCOLL00 and this program checks the TCOLL table for program which needs
to be started.
Workload Monitor:

If you want to see the transactions used by all users you can easily see this in the transaction ST03 and select the Transaction Profile view. If this is not what you want, please have a look at SAP note #1053634 which does describe an interface which can be used to read the information,
which can be reported by the transaction ST03, automatically.

The reason may be the difference in Time Zone Settings between the SAP system and the Operating system.

Maybe you have changed something.

Could you check?

Hi,

What I observer from the screen shot , Data collection was not happening form 18.05.2013 to 07.09.2013. So it makes clear that we don't have data for the month of August.

When did you restart your saposcol ?

Also did the job  SAP_COLLECTOR_Performance  was de-scheduled during this time period ?

If you have DAA agents installed and your system connected to Solman , you have an option to pull it from Root cause analysis from solman system(condition if the saphostagent and DAA were up and running during that period).

Also,

If the jobs and the saposcol are running then go to ST03N switch to Administrator view -> Workload collector and check the log for errors.

ST03 does not always work properly because one of two batch jobs, SAP_COLLECTOR or SAPC_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR (i think this is the name). this job must be scheduled for every hour and should under DDIC...i think the batch job runs as ABAP program called RSCOLL00 (zero zero OR oo at the end) which basically refers to a table named TCOLL. This table contains number of ABAP programs that collect performance data for ST03....

Try looking into these tables, reports and jobs. Also, you may want to compare TCOLL from other system to this system to make sure everything looks the same.
