PLM UI & DMS:WWI Document display from PLM Web interface

Hello DMS experts,

I am using SAP PLM 7.02 system and facing issue access the release WWI orginals reports from Web UI.

I am able to access the report from SAP GUI but when try to access the report from Web UI there is no original attached.

I am able to select the Document key from report information system and when i try to open it opens the document information web page but there are no orginal attached to the document.

This is the case for WWI reports only i can check and display orginals for other DMS document which i created from Web interface.

Do these document types use KPRO?

Hello Rajeev,

The SAP EH&S WWI document types, KPRO is not activated for them.

I worked on Web UI for document creation and this works fine for me, i can able to check inn and upload orginals, DMS functionality works fine for Web UI.

The DIR creation with document key is generating but i am not able to see the orginal attached to the DIR.

Hi Shailesh,

could you please check if in transaction DC10 the flag 'Use KPRO' is set. Does this effect only one specific document info record or all your documents?

Would it be possible to provide us a screenshot of the "missing" original file?

Hello Christoph,

We are not using " KPRO flag" to our EH&S document types the other DMS document type have KPRO flagged and they are working fine on WEB WI  for PLM.

But in SAP gui DMS i can see the orginal attached and also open them.

I need a guidance on the KPRO, if i am doing the KPRO setting for my document type now, does this best practise that if the documents are already generated, i can do the KPRO setting now also.

Second thing i tried creating document using KPRO but still ther orginal was missing.
