Can any one help out to provide solution for this.

Hello
Check whether the database parameters are set according to this SAP note
Note 1431798 - Oracle 11.2.0: Database Parameter Settings
Secondly why is the client asking to tune the system ?
Is there a performance issue ?

Dear all supporters,
I run out the report RSORADJV as per note 1171650, i got recommanded parameters.
Where i will get values for that parameters?
How can i set that values?
"ok (is not set; mentioned with other prerequisites/not mentioned in note) " What does it mean?
"ok (is not set; mentioned with other prerequisites/not mentioned in note)"
"ok (ignored dynamically changed parameter)"
Thanks,
V Srinivasan
I am very concerned for your customer at the minute, because you obviously need to do lots more studying on Oracle databases. I am not saying this to be mean or nasty, because at least you are asking question which is a good thing - but you should not be left to do this on your own when you obviously have so little experience. At the minute you are actively dangerous with regard to this system, please go an find an Oracle DBA either within your client or your own organisation and engage their help to set these parameters.
Thanks
Chris
Hello
First read the SAP note which I have mentioned before then you will understand the output of this script.
The note clearly states what parameters are required and with the expected values.
Again, could you tell me the reason as to why you doing the system tuning ?
If there is a performance problem then be specific.
Regards
RB
Hi Srinivasan,
As a baseline to begin with you may execute the script attached with below SAP note
Note 1171650 - Automated Oracle DB parameter check
Set the parameters with the recommended value from the output of the script.
Once the baseline is ready, you can continue further tuning based on which transaction or scenarios or SAP application you want to tune.
Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori

There's so much more information needed before anyone here could start to help you. Starting with why you feel the need to tune the system in the first place.
If you honestly don't know where to start, I would suggest you find somebody to speak to that has experience of system tuning. A couple of days with an experienced NetWeaver consultant analysing the system and providing recommendations could save you a huge amount of grief compared to going it alone.
I notice you said "customer". Do you not have somebody in your organisation able to provide this support to them?
Steve.
