Dear All

i am trying to install LiveCache 7.7 with SCM 7.0 under Oracle and Linux .

during LiveCache Installation i got the following error

i found the solution in my previous post, as the Error Message Says

"Creating shared memory file /var/lib/sdb/dbm/ipc/.M770710.dbm.shi failed, rc = File exists."

accordingly , i Deleted the Existing hidden files <.M770710.dbm.shi , .M770710.dbm.shm> from the that directory /var/lib/sdb/dbm/ipc/

Hi Ahmed,

Please check whether below files exists. If yes, rename them and reboot the server.

Post this start the installation once again.

(SID.dbm.shm and SID.dbm.shm) located in the \sapdb\data\wrk directory.

i checked the directory given  , the files  still not yet created ,  even in the error message says that  the DMS SERVER fail to create shared Memory

so kindly check the following error Again extracted from dbmsrv_scmapp.prt
