IE9 and Safari on Portal 7.31

HI,

I have a portal 7.31, and normally the browser IE9 and safari works, but in my portal i have some issue.

On IE9 -> i can't click on any Tab

On safari, -> the size on iview don't take all the page, but half or less than.

Somebody have a idea to resolve that.

Thanks for your help.

Nico

    Hi Nico,

What do you mean by "I can't click on any Tab"? - do you mean that when you click the tab it doesn't do anything? e.g. it does not navigate?

What operating system are you using? Is it Safari on Windows or Mac OS?

If I were you I would check the PAM: http://service.sap.com/pam if you look at the browser support Safari isn't supported on windows:

    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/pam?hash=pvnr%3D01200615320900005175%26pt%3Dt%257CWBRPFM%26ainstnr%3D01200615324900010009%26fclfilter%3D

For IE9 have you tried running in Compatibility mode?

    Hth,
    Simon

    Hi,

Do you have light freamework page.

If yes please check the below note.

Note 1894433 - Light framework page DTN is not aligned in chrome or safari

Do you have BI installed on the portal.

If yes. What is the patch level.they should be greater than NW 7.31 SP05 Patch 20 or SP07.

And if it is webdynpro screen please check the below note.

1618309 - IE9/FF4/Safari4/GoogleChrome and IE<N>/FF<N>/Safari<N> support on Web Dynpro Java and commonly raised issues.

    Hope this helps.

For IE 9 please share the screen shot and the details about the iview and the patch level of your system.

    Thanks
