Custom Language Tool support for 9.0 version

Hi all,

I am trying to make the new language in Vietnamese by custom language tool in SAP 9.0.

I read the User guide but could not found the example to create the XML file for new language.

Here is my command typed but i have not done yet.

c:\CLT>CLT.exe create SBO_English ( United States).XML SBO_Vietnamese.XML VN 100009 Vietnamese (Vietnam) Vietnamese

The error is ""The Languages ID is not valid, exactly 2 characters are required

Please help or give me the document with example.

Hi Tien,

I see you did have some success with your Vietnamese translation. I know this is an old thread, but I am trying to create one for myself.

I have no idea where to type the command like you have above? Where do I start?

I have put this in the cmd prompt but it is not running....

I have a son living in Saigon

Hi Julie

For the cmd , you need to follow this way for easier

1. Make new folder in C driver ( C\CLT)

2. Copy all file of CLT tool to CLT folder above

3. Using command line: Press Window Key + R --> type cmd --> enter

4. In the cmd window

- Type Cd C:\

The Result is C:\>

- Copy the patch of CLT.exe nad pastse to cmd and enter.

Hi Tien,

Your partial code pointed me in the right direction & I have managed to create my new file - very many thanks for that!

The one application pop up my customer wants to change is not in the list of available fields, so fortunately I don't have to go any further with it
