Hi
I would like to delete old data in the Infocube.
Let us say older than 105 days.
I want to do this through the process chain.
I Know that i can do thsi by selective deletion or by deleteing the request (if not compressed). Just i an wondering how to do this through a process chain?
Thx.
Hi,
I think there is no such a process to delete requests from data target. If you want to automate the deletion of requests from the PSA, you can include an appropriate process variant in a process chain.

Hi,
Yes that is for complete deletion of the content from the cube.
if u want to maintain the selections for the cube then u have to use the Auto deletion from the infopackage under the data target tab. with the Auto Deletion option.
I dont think that u can maintainthe selection in the Process chain for the Cube.. As u can do that for the PSA deletion.
PSA deletion in the process chain allows the selections..

Hi,
If u want to delete the overlapping request then u can use the process called DELETE OVERLAPPING REQUESTS under the Load process & Post processing node.
If u want to delete the data in the data target then u can use the process called -
complete deletion of data target content process under the node Data Target Administration.
Hope it helps-
