    Hi Alex,

I don't believe this is possible (unless you hard code a text element with "- - - - - - - - -"!). I had a requirement to do this once and I dug around for a while. I ended up loading in a graphic to achieve this - it wasn't ideal but it worked.

    Cheers,

    Pat.

      Alex,

First of all you need to find an appropriate graphic and save it in TIFF format (make sure you save it with a proper graphics program - ie no MS Paint as MS Paint generated TIFF files won't work doue to compression issues).

Go to SE78 and click on the "Graphics" node and then open the "BMAP" folder. Give your graphic a "Z" name here and select either B/W or Color. Now click on the "Import" button (it's the first button on the App Toolbar).

Now define the filepath of your graphic.

Now your graphic is loaded into SAP!

You can click on the "Print Preview" button (next to the "Hat" on the App Toolbar) to see what it looks like.

Click on the "Truck" icon to assign the graphic to a Transport.

Now in your SmartForm create a window that goes the width (or length) of the page. Within this window create a "Graphic" node. Define your object here and there you go.

This can get messy because you may have over lapping windows (so if you do use this make sure that this new window is the last one on the page). Personally, I would try and avoid this but if the business insist that this is a show stopper (as my client did) then this is a last resort.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,

      Pat.

Patrick is right. It is not possible.

As a workaround you can also try Background Picture in the PAGE Node .

    Cheers

    hi,

i think we can make use of &sy-uline(length)& and &sy-vline& at the appropriate places in the texts.
