Hi All

I am on SAP MII 12.2 and while trying to create a UDC connection,I am getting the following error :

Unable to create socket connection

[EXCEPTION]

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)

Can some one please help with some pointers?

Regards

Shweta

Sharing the data server settings would be helpful.  Connection refused could be a port or IP address that is not resolving or listening.

Thanks for responding Jeremy

what exactly would you want to look at?

The connection exception i was getting earlier is gone once i changed the port, but the status of the server is still "Error" and in logs i have the "Unable to run the query: error

I now also get a warning in the logs which says that certain properties are not set in xml but it doesnt tell me which properties it is talking about

Can you please help me figure out what is going wrong here an how can i get this system connected.

Many Thanks

Shweta

Shweta,

What is the UDC Connection pointing to? If it is Plant Connectivity (PCo), what is the Source Agent type? Is the Agent Instance Started?

As far as i understand it its just talking to a SQL 2005 server on a MES system.

Please share the data server configuration settings from the page in the menu.  UDC and SQLServer would be a strange mix.
