I created a form using SAPscript for purchase order in SE71 when it was activated it is not showing any errors and in the ABAP program also their were no error but it is not showing any output when i provided the Purchase Order number in the selection screen. It is giving an error that write_form is invalid and Open_form is missing.

Please provide me the solution.

I am assuming that because you are getting this error you are using your own SAPscript Print Program?

In the basic layout of a Print Program you need to do the following (after you have compiled your data).

    • this opens the SAPscript

    • this opens up a new spool request

    • this calls the Text Elements and allows you to write

    • data to the SAPscript - write your headers, etc here

    loop at tbl_ekpo.

    • This will display your PO Item contents

    • closes the spool request

    • closes the SAPscript

For more info about these Function Modules look at the doco in SE37 or look at the following link:

and look under "SAPscript Function Modules".

    Hope this helps.

      Hello Sriram,

Everything looks good. I really doubt that you must had made some mistake while defining the paragraph format/character format.

Activate the form if you make any changes.

Since yours is a custom program no need to assign or configure it using NACE transaction

Just execute it filling the PO number. Recheck your pages, windows and page windows along with paragraph and character format.

      That should work.
