Hi,
I am working in a NW 7.01 system.
First of all, I am a newbie regarding BRF+ so thanks to everyone willing to help me.
I created a function in which I specified a structure in the 'Signature' tab.
Then, I created an decision table expression that I assigned as 'Top expression' to the function (in 7.01, you do not have to the 'Assigned Ruleset' tab).
Now, I would like to simply use some elements of the function context (that is to say elements from the structure), how should I proceed?
The system only allows me to select 'Element' not 'Element from the structure'.
Do I have to somehow duplicate all elements from the structure and perform some 'Change context' actions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Guillaume
Hello,
When you say that the system allows you to select only elements (and not 'elements from structure') do you see the fields from the structure in the function's context in the selection list? If yes, have you tried using them in your decision table? I don't know about older releases but in the newer releases (which I have been working on), I think it's totally possible to use elements from a context structure in decision tables.

Ok! Well, I am afraid I might not be able help you much since this appears to be a problem specific to your system's release level.
In my system, when I try to insert condition columns from the context into a decision table, a pop-up opens showing the available data objects. This list includes the structure used in the function context and when I expand the structure (by clicking to a small black arrow to its left), I am able to select the fields in the structure.
Have you tried searching for SAP Notes on this issue?
