Hi All,
We have a scenario in engneering company like,
When we are sending the material to customer, if qty is less than 16MT i should pay transporter $90. Otherwise i should pay some fixed value according to weight(MT).
Can anybody tell me how to arrive this
Hi Pallavi,
Could you give us a few more details. Would you include the transportation price in the net value or would you not charge the customer but still accumulate it in a separate GL account and display it in the sales order.
At first glance it does seem like scales should do it. For the freight condition type you could maintain scales assigning first charge for upto 16 mt and then if its more than 16mt you can maintain the fixed value. Would you calculate freight charge using the weight if its more than 16 mt please specify your statement is not very clear

Hi Pallavi,
I think you should use scales to acheive this scenario.

Maintaining Scales for the Required freight conditions will fulfill your requirement. Although if you I can see that you might need to maintain a logt of conditions if the normal Orders are of great Tonnage .
Other option is to have 2 conditions in the pricing procedure. Once fixed value and one for per Ton. A requirement routine can be created and assigned to both the conditions. Based on which condition is fulfilled, the appropraite freight condition will be picked up in the Pricing Procedure.
