To create Alerts for rejections

Hi all,

1) My requirement is that the system should generate alerts to concerned contractor / manufacture in case of any
rejections. Could you kindly advice.

2) System should be able to store Date when second discount generation is valid

Could anybody kindly suggest on these lines?

Solution 1:

As suggested by Jignesh Mehta it requires Z-Development if the above mentioned requirement is to generate the alert with in SAP and Outside SAP(External Mail id).

Ask your ABAPer to call the Function Module " SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" in the user exit MV45AFZZ under the enhancement spot

FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.

Solution 2:

Otherwise as suggested by Santosh trigger a workflow when user accesses the transaction code to reject the line items in the document.

Please look into the following workflows to generate alerts in case of rejection. Not sure which will have rejection code, but you have to check with your workflow consultant to draw a conclusion

WS20000112

WS20000113.

Can you please explain the requirement in detail?

Prima facie, this requirement will involve Z-Development to send alerts on happening of certain event i.e. Rejections.
