Dear Gurus,
I have the following scenario, my client provide services for the drilling, so i made drilling as a service material.
My client have the rates for drilling per day lets say $12000/day in the contract, but he will charge it as per actual like for one day drill only operate for 3hrs, so he will charge $12000/24, 500$/hour multiply by 3 means 1500$.
I have a contract and from that contract making the sales order, in sales order i have to put actual hours so system can calculate it.
Please suggest how can i configure the condition to over come the following scenario.
Looking for the gurus response.
Dear Imran,
In CUNI there are two UOM's as D and DAY which are converted based on Seconds with a Numerator value of 86,400. Try to create a Condition Record against your particular Condition Type with UOM as DAY and check. Also, Maintain UOM conversion factor in MMR --> Addtional Data option --> Unit of Measure.
Suppose 1 Day --> 24 Hrz
Kindly test the same and revert with your findings. Thanks.

Hello
You can maintain the Condition based on the $/Min....
Bases on the actually hour/Minutes you can create the sales order with quantity as Minutes.. you can also you can put the quantity in the decimal..
for example : 10$ For 1 Min, then..
If 3 Hr actually work
you can create the sales order with 180 Qty ( Mins ) ...60X3

Hi,
you can create a Condition type with unit as per hour and maintain the condition record for the same with scales as required

Hi
Day is your basic unit of measure and Hours is your sales unit of measure. Maintain conversial rule in material master additional data as 1 day = 24 hours. Maintain rate in days and system will automatically calculate and convert it in hours while creating order. Hope it will solve your issue. Please test and update.
Thank$
