Dear Guru,
Good Evening.
My client is following OTC process. so user everytime create sale order with reference to quotation. Now the client came with a requirement that whenever user create an order, the date should be quotation date always. It should not be sales order date. In my opinion, its not possible by Standard SAP. Please suggest me and help me out.In case If it is by Enhancement, plz explain the process.
Thnaks.

Nikhil
Hi
Which field of sale order os your order date? Could you please share it's technical name? Lets assume it is one of VBAK-AUDAT or VBAK-ERDAT. Ask your ABAPER to implement and implicit enhancement in program MV45AFZZ and USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK. Tell him the logic that system will go to quotation and will check its create date and will update your order date as same.
Thank$

Dear Nikhil,
If you're talking about Document Date then in Stnd. it's Copying isn't possible as system will always gonna consider System Date as a Document Date however against your requirement you need to go for an enhancement in MV45AFZZ at FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP. Do apply the logic with the help of your ABAPER in order to set the Sale Order Document Date to be defaulted to Quotation Date and i'm sure you'll be able to achieve the same. Thanks.

Hi,
It is not possible in standard. However, through Copying routnes written (Quotation Date = Sales Order Date) and assigned at header between Qotation and Order the requirement can be achieved.
