Skipped Shippment Process

Dear All;

I have small query is there any option that  the shippment process can be completed once the PGI and the invoice has been done.Since in my case the shippment process i.e creation of shippment by VT01n has not been created because the route was not selected in outbound delivery and the PGI and Invoice was also done but now the user  want to complete the shippment  but the system is not allowing it.

Please guide me and thanks in advance

Hello Nurul,

Shipment Process can be done before of after PGI provided Route is mentioned in Outbound Delivery.

But in your case if the Route is missing in Delivery, then it will not be possible to create Shipment documents. You will have to reverse the Invoice & PGI (Delivery) & determine the Route again.

Also it will be a good idea to keep Route as mandatory in Sales Order / Delivery doucment.

Actualy i want to know that is there a way to complete the shippment process of an outbound delivery whose PGI has been done and also   invoice has been created .Secondly the route has not picked up in the outbound delivery.

First of all try do in SAP as you said in above comment and let me know how system has responded.

Just at least think ,without PGI ,how will you create Invoice.

Your query is not clear.. You mention

If route was not proper ' eligible to transport' than your delivery will not create shipment. If you already did PGI and invoice than shipment not require as delivery is not relevant for transportation.

In case you need to do transportation than reverse invoice, correct route in delivery and than try.
