PI Tracking File to IDoc

Dear Experts,

How to track PI messages from File to IDoc?

In case of IDoc to File, I can get the Transaction ID of the IDoc then put the TID to the IDX5 in PI.

In case of File, can I use any attribute of the file, the filename maybe to track the message in PI?

Thank you,

Suwandi C.

    hi,

of course you can - you can set the filename in the adapter specific message attributes (dynamic conf)

in the sender adapter and then use it in user defined message search in PI (dynamic config instead of xpath),

so this is simple and possible (no dev required)

And if you need the document for configuring the user defined search there is a nice document you can go through.. We are currently using in our system.
