Bin Structure has to be defined.

Dear All,

I am new for WM I am setting the system for Storage type, Storage selection, Storage Bin like below. Who the system has to be set & while creating the Bin with CCNNCNNCNN getting error message for the below for the increment

Warehouse No: 200

Storage Type                       Storage Selection      Storage Bin
201: 3-Tier Racking             L1, L2, L3                 A-00-00-00 (to) G-16-99-99
202: Heavy Duty Racking    HDK                         A-00-00-00 (to) D-25-10-10
203: Mobile Racking            MR1, MR2               A-00-00-00 (to) J-16-99-99
204: Out-Side Area              OS1, OS2, OS3
205: Inside Floor Area         IFA

Our Client don't have QC (QM) enable. How we need to go about the Process for receiving the Material in WM with out Quality Setting, below defined process will work?

Eg:

1. Creation of material master without WM view extension - MM01

2. Create Bin master Data for required Storage type of plant - LS01N

3. Storage bin in a warehouse can be blocked / Unblocked from usage - LS06

4.  PO Creation - ME21N

5. GR Creation - MIGO (101 Mov) (Auto TO is not getting triggered after GRN)

6.  Manually TO Created in LT06 (palletization) done & Posted TO

7. Confirm TO - LT12

8. Display PCN - LU06

9. Stock - LS26

Need to set the WM system for:

1. Receiving the Stock form vendor & update it at bin level

2. Issue it to Production

3. Receive from Production

4. Transfer from one location to other

5. Issue to Sales

6. Issue to Rejection, Return

Am I in the correct track. Need your advice for making the WM Process flow correct.

Thanks,

Prasath

Dear Prasath

its ok, But you have to test to clear the interim relevant stock (IM-WM Stock Difference) and Physical inventory process. This is very important

thank dinesh

1. Know about the Physical inventory process.

2. How to test to clear the interim relevant stock (IM-WM Stock Difference)

3. While creating the Bin with CCNNCNNCNN getting error message for the below for the increment

Is this error message a secret, or do you think there is only one error message in SAP and hence there is no need to tell it?

Dear Friend

You can use T code LT01, LT10,LU01 For clearing the IM-WM difference...But this T code use only for particular scenarios.for example you are not able to create the transfer order against TR.. you can try it

Do you know what an increment is?

wikipedia says:

An increment is an increase of some amount, either fixed or variable

How can you increment something by A or something by -

Dear  Friend

End value --you can Change "G" to "A"

Increment---you maintain like A-01-01-01...now you check it

Thanks for the clarification i have change the Start value & end value to A still i get the same error Like:  A-01-01-01 in increment.

an increment has no A

Example: Creating Multiple Storage Bins (SAP Library - Warehouse Management Guide)

only enter a 1 as increment  below the 6  and the two 9s in your end value

Hi

If you want to increment by an ALPHA character you will need to change the template to:

ACNNCNNCNN

A = Alpha character

C = Constant

N = Numerical character

So set up as:

Template     ACNNCNNCNN

Start value     A-01-01-01

End value     G-16-99-99

Increment     1-01-01-01

Let me know how you get on.

I have also previously set up the increment with 1 and 0's without the '-'. So if you get the same error try increment as 1001001001.

Hope this helps
