Connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/Systemcannot be created

Hi

I am trying to connect our ABAP
backup system (ECD) to AEX (Java Only)
system (PIQ). The RFC was created in
SM59, please see attached screen
shot for details on the RFC. But when I try
to do a connection test it
fails with a 404 return code.

I checked the
below Pipe URL. But when I execute that
throws 404
error

htp://MFPIQA.ad.mfww.com:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet

Here
are some entries from the default trace when this happens
"Connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/Systemcannot be created as it was
not
registered before!"

I have also tried to check the below URLs, even this
does not work and fails with 404 error

http://MFPIQA:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

http://mfpiqa:50000/-sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Please advise

Hi

We also got a similar issue & to resolve this issue "Perform Role Mapping" from SLD (in Local if it is new system)

- Access the SLD - http://<host>:<port>/dir -> SLD

- Log on as an administrator for AS Java / SLD administrator

- Choose Administration

-> Settings

-> "Perform Role Mapping"

Also ensure,

1) SLD_DS_USER (i.e SLD_CL_SID) has below roles;

SAP_SLD_DATA_SUPPLIER

SAP_SLD_CONTENT_SYNC

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

2) SLD_CL_USER (i.e SLD_CL_SID)

SAP_SLD_DATA_SUPPLIER

SAP_SLD_CONTENT_SYNC

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR
