like wise data given in spread sheet using crystal report and live office.......... can i create a report using this data ie) plant wise inventory?  period wise inventory, ticker? chart? everything?   or i have to change the data format ? or tell me how to align the data?  list buildar also?

You have to modify the first and data in the third column. Decimal values starting with 1. doesn't make sense. The date in the first column should be modified to calender format like mm/dd/yyyy or some thing.

After that create a report with date as section and pull the report into dashboard using webservices.

thanks Arun,    ok i will change the date format and decimal value is divided by 100000 so that 1. value is coming ok i will change that.. but my question is can i create ticker, accordian menu with graph, list buildor..,,, etc... if i select the labels for date field all the date is displaying that is (012013, 012013, 012013 like wise its showing)  so that any change or any format change needed in data?

Yes you can create ticker, list box etc. How are you bringing values to dashboard? Through webi? Then it is simple. Create a report exactly like above and set the formatted date as section.

Publish a webservice and link the cells to dashboard components.

Are MBWBEST and WBWBEST yoru measure columns or the inventory columns?

If I understand correctly, the above data is output of Crystal report? You have to either create a WebI report and create crosstabs and then use Live Office/ BIWS/ InfoBurst to get the data to dashboard and then you can plot the data in any charts you want.

If you cannot use a WebI report, then you have to get the data in crosstab format using LO via Crystal report or you have to write formulas to format the data.

You will find recent threads with suggestion how to create crosstab.

Hi Runali,

                  You are right MBWBEST and WBWBESE are the inventory columns, we are not using WEBI  report here. We are using crystal report only...

I don't know how to create cross tab in crystal report with these data, Can you please explain me how to create crystal report by this given sample.......
