Web Application Designer map item

Dear all,

some time ago I maintained all SAPWKEYS in GIS ArcView in order to allocate the different country regions to the map web item, which is used in Web Application Designer. It's working fine and now I am tryiing to optimise the functionalities. One open task for me is, that at the initial screen the map of the whole world is always shown. For me it would make sense, if it would be possible that the US colleagues start with the map of the US, the German colleagues with the map of Germay and so on. This would avoid a lot of scrolling at the beginning for the user. Does anybody have an idea, if it is possible to realise in SAP standard?

I think you have to use 0COUNTRY in your map.

I am using 0country as well for the country borders.

So as a result I have different map layers for the country boarders and the region borders. My isue is, that e.g for a US-report you always see the whole world initially. For me it would be nice, if you would be automitacylly directed to the US when you start this web application - without scrolling 3 times.

You may have to explore more on this web item properties to set specific country to take you in.

Otherwise, you may try with some XHTML code to achieve the same by using some commands. This is just an idea.
