Hi

I have no records of anyone trying to do this. It is possible to modify ITs but usually this involves adding views and mostly in the customer namespace. Making changes to SAP standard subtypes might cause some issues down the line. If your intention is to block users from utilising the other subtypes, I think using authorizations is a faster and much easier way to accomplish this.

Hi Sony

My vote is for the option suggested by Johan - use authorizations if you don't want your end users to see the other subtypes. This way you leave standard SAP entries alone and, if ever necessary in the future, you could easily reinstate one or more of them.

Best wishes,

How do you mean "remove all"?

1. if you mean, data itself from existing employee(s)....then you need to delimit all existing records for the subtypes you do not want (ie. end date them)....but also make sure now time constraints exist that won't allow this (ie "one must always be active").

2. if you mean, you do not want any other subtypes selectable....this can be done via configuration....but I would be very sure of your requirement if this is for a "live" system and you aren't just playing around on some "learning" system.

Hi Sony

It is possible but not advisable as they are SAP standard entries.

Go to V_T591A and delete the required entries and document it carefully for future use during every upgrade.

The better way is to control subtype country specific in V_T582L.
