Can anyone assist me with benchmark figures regarding implementation costs for large multinational companies in the semi conductor as well as food processing industry? Also can you share how other semi conductor and food processing companies manage their reporting with the use of SAP BPC or other products?

    Hi Kelly,

    It will depend on what all is in scope - only planning, only consolidation, only legal consolidation, only managerial consolidation or any combination of these or all of these.

    If only planning, several factor like what all will be planned using BPC - CAPEX, OPEX, HR, Sales, Financial, etc.

    Similarly, In consolidation several factor will determine the amount of time and resources required, some of the factors are holding structure,sources of data,reporting requirements, type of control required, etc.

    The best option to gauge all these would be prepare the list of objects to be configured/developed and then allocate man days to each object and then add a buffer to arrive at final figure.
