Authorization restriction in Property Tree

Hi @all,

we are facing a business requirement to limit some users access rights on the property tree.

E.g.: some users should ony be allowed to maintain data in section 4, others should only maintain data in section 15.

All users should be able to view the entire property tree.

What we tried so far was identifyng the respective value assignments and create roles limited with these assignments in ESEESTCAT. But either the user has all rights to maintain or no authorization to even view the property tree at all.

Is there any kind of structure we have to take care of?

Well, sometimes it seems to be better to think first and post then ;-))

After copying the respective authorization objects and split actiity 02 with * and 03 with the value assignment it seems to work.
