Hierachies - Changing how the nodes display

Hi everyone,

A quick question...

we have a query which has a material hierarchy in it as the characteristic. There are a number of key figures on this query as well.

Here's what we would like to do.

1) for some of the key figures, we would like the figure that displays on the node to be the average of all the individual values under that node. (note I don't mean the total results here.. just the value on the node)

2) for others, we do not want the node to display any number at all (as the key figure is a date)

Is any of these 2 scenarios possible? If so.. how do you change this?

Hi

you can do 1 but not 1 and 2 (so either is possible).

1. create a KF (KFa) that sums the KF you want the avg.

create another KF that calculate KFa and devide it by

Record Count (its a standard KF).
