DTP set for Detla Upload by default

Hello,

I just created a DTP to load Text Data (Master Data) to a Characteristic. I noticed that the upload is of type DELTA and is greyed out. I wish to change it to FULL. How can I achieve this? Please help. Thanks.

you can't change DTP from delta to full as long as their are still requests in the target.

Hi,

If you want to change Extraction mode from Delta to Full then you have to delete  the data from respected target and do the changes i,e Delta to Full and perform full load .

If you dont want to delete data from target, in that case you have to create new DTP with Full load.

Because of master data  overwrite property data wont be duplicated.

Thank you all for your inputs. Indeed I had to first delete all master data (Texts) and then I was able to select Full option.

why you want to change full mode, what ever extraction mode u will take first time it will pick full records .if u want full DTP Create another DTP with  full mode this is the only way to slove.

Hi Sebastian,

As suggested by all above, go for a new DTP creation for full load and disgard the usage of earlier created Delta DTP.

Deleting data will be the only option. Post deleting don't forget to Activate Master data.

Thanks for your replies. The problem I am facing is as soon I create a new DTP it get set to delta automatically. So even if I create 100 new DTPs they all get set to DELTA by default.

By default Extraction mode is Delta only , you have to change it to Full load  from drop down

When you create a new DTP, the mode will be Delta by default, you need to select FULL from the drop down list.
