Hi
Order bom is created for every sales order item, same order bom should be used for planned order and production order creation.
Order BOM is also used for costing purpose, for costing it is working fine
following configuration has been done, in OPPQ - sale order/wbs bom has been selected and priority has been given to S&D bom. while running MRP it is throwing an exception 52, bom has not been selected.
could any one help me, i have checked many SDN threads on the same, it had helped me to an extent
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
Please check the BOM usage in CS62. also validity date and status as 1 Active.
Go to component details of BOM then it should be relevant for production in Status/lng Text tab.

Hi Krishna,
I think this problem is related with your BOM Usage. Please check which BOM Usage you have used while creating the BOM; according to me that should be either 3 or 5.
Also, please check setting of BOM Status - Item Statuses in configuration, use t-code OS20 for that.
Hope after that you will be fine.
Apart from that check in OPPQ appropriate BOM Sel ID in "BOM/Routing Selection".
