BC set switch - in ERP project

Hi,

Could anyone of you throw some lights on BC-SET switch used in the IS2ERP project ?

I need to understand what is BC set switch and template.

My colleague used to ask me whether this is BC set or IS-* template.And I'm unable to answer b'coz I'm not aware of these 2 things.

When I asked for some explanations,but the explanations were not clear.

Could you please explain what is BC SET and template and what are their uses in the project ?
