Redpoyment on local-server : Tooling Issues

Hi,

In eclipse, I am not able redploy the hana application on a existing local server. I always need to delete and recreate the server. What is the suggested ways to re-deploy the application on existing local server.

99% of the times, when I try this it timesout.

Hi Guru, there is an issue on SDK 2.x with removing webapps that contain jar files in WEB-INF/lib, but deleting the server is not necessary. I usually remove the application, stop the server, delete the remainings in the webapp directory, start the server and add the application again. This is odd, but at least I do not have to delete the server and its configurations. A good workaround is using jrebel

On SDK 1.x I never had problems with republishing.
