Dear Experts,

In MD04, when we perform the sorting functionality for a material with respect to sale order by icon Sort segments by date of 1st requirements ,Please find the below issue

1. For example, for a material 10000 for which we have a sale order with items 020 and 030 which has the same material in sale order and both the items has different "First dates" say item 20 has 23.01.2017 and item 30 has 10.02.2017.If the sale order has has the indicator "Complete dlv."(field - VBAK-AUTLF) active in sale order header then while performing the sorting sorting in MD04 (Sort segment by date of 1st requirements ->Edit-> Segments-> Individual segments-> sale order number) -then as a result of sorting we are able to see both the items 020 and 030 in MD04 screen even though the requirement date (First date) of items are different (This is meeting our expectation)

2. For the same sale order sale order with items 020 and 030 which has the same material in sale order and both the items has different "First dates" say item 20 has 23.01.2017 and item 30 has 10.02.2017 and if we deactivate the indicator "Complete dlv."(field - VBAK-AUTLF) then while performing the sorting sorting in MD04 (Sort segment by date of 1st requirements ->Edit-> Segments-> Individual segments-> sale order number) then as a result of sorting the system is not displaying both the items 020 and 030 in MD04 screen and only the item 020 is displayed as it has the nearest "First date" of 23.01.2017.

Now the business requirement is to display both the sale order items 20 and 30 should be displayed in MD04 after performing the sorting irrespective of the indicator "Complete dlv." existancein sale order header.

I checked few OSS notes for this issue but couldnt find any solution for this sorting issue. Please let me know if we have any notes or logic we can maintain in standard program for this case which doesnt impact other existing functionalities of MD04.

Please provide your suggestion

Regards,

J.Balakrishnan
